Major League Movie Synopsis

When an exotic dancer's husband dies, she inherits control of his baseball club. Wishing to upgrade her inheritance, she aspires to move somewhere warmer with newer stadiums. Unfortunately, the only way to escape her current lease clause is poor attendance, so she fields the worst team she can find. Her attitude gives the misfits and losers something to rally around and they fight back.

A verry funny movie. Truley describes life in the big leagues

I have searched our local retail outlets in Auckland New Zealand for copies to purchase but to date all attempts have come up empty. I`m a huge fan of the Major League trilogy and haven`t had a fix since it disappeared from the shelves of my local Video Ezy shop a couple of years ago. I have a great collection of sporting/baseball movies of which this would take pride alongside , For the Love of the Game, Field of Dreams, The Fan,A League of Their Own,The Rookie and many others. The Babe is my lastest purchase which a friend kindly found at a shop that will import on your behalf. So it`s looking good and who knows I may have these for my c

Very good baseball film. It is great when a cast just falls together with the script. Great soundtrack also. Best one liners I have ever heard in film. Add steroids and this would look a lot like baseball is today in truth.
