Can you say Charlie? In that 1968 film,
Cliff Robertson plays a retarded man who suddenly becomes extremely intelligent after undergoing experimental surgery before slipping back into his former state. This time out it's
Elisabeth Shue who plays a mentally challenged woman who suddenly becomes MENSA material after undergoing some experimental treatments. Her carefree brother,
Aaron Eckhart, must learn to cope with the sister he never knew.
Molly is an extremely unresearched and, in some instances, offensive film toward members of the ASD community. This film is completely ficticious in it`s portrayal of intervention methods, and is inaccurate in terms of symptomatology and prospect.
It´s a very interesting and refreshing movie, Elizabeth Shue is a great actress.
