Elizabeth (
Norah Jones), a disenchanted young woman, embarks on a soul-searching journey to distance herself from a broken heart. As emotional wounds begin to fade, her experiences with a series of disconnected strangers lead to new and unexpected chapters in her life. From poetic musings of a late-night café owner to the desperate propositions of a down-on-her-luck gambler, these individuals redefine Elizabeth's perspectives on life, relationships and, ultimately, her own identity. If you are a fan of Wong Kar Wai movies, as I am, you will enjoy this movie. Though not quite as enchanting as some of his previous work but the characters are very strong and engrossing. It was a beautiful movie to watch.
