Nuit #1 Movie Synopsis

Nikolai and Clara meet on the dancefloor at a rave. He takes her back to his shabby apartment where they have sex between the living room and bedroom. Later, while Nikolai is asleep, Clara gets up and takes a bath before getting dressed and leaving. Awakened by the sound of the door, Nikolai catches up to her on the stairs and asks her to return. Annoyed by her apparent nonchalance, he shows his insecurity. Surprised, Clara decides to stay and talk to him. Over the course of the night, they learn as much about each other in a few hours as some couples learn over the course of a long-term relationship.

Intense and gripping drama about 2 strangers who bare their souls after a one-night romp. Both lead characters command attention, with a standout performance by Catherine de Lean. Viewed 3 times and definitely worth a fourth viewing. Has garnered many prizes and awards, including besr actress. Beautiful script, honest and raw. Be prepared to be emotionally challenged throughout the film. Will appeal to all mature age groups. Not to be missed.
