In the long tradition of human flesh-devouring films -- Alive, Delicatessen, Eating Raoul, The Silence of the Lambs -- comes this offering starring The Full Monty's Carlyle as a psychopath who has developed a taste for human flesh.
Hilariously and darkly funny, well-timed, quirkily acted. The music was unusual and jarring and just right for the piece! Carlyle does very well, but it is very much an ensemble effort. Haven`t laughed so hard in AGES.
For a period piece I thought they did a pretty good job. The scenery and costumes were wonderful, It was definitely something different in the way of cannibalism movies.
I think that it is not as good as Hannible Lecter, but was not to bad, althought could have been better.
