Small World Movie Synopsis

Conrad Lang, in his 60s, who has lived with the wealthy Senn family since he was a young child, is experiencing memory loss similar to Alzheimer's. As his condition deteriorates, memories from his childhood surface. Simone, the young wife of heir Philip Senn, gets attached to the old man and is intrigued by his stories of events that don't seem to jibe with the family's official history. His past friendship with Thomas, Philip's father, seems to hide a disturbing fact. Simone also learns that her husband's mother, Elizabeth, had a troubled relationship with Conrad. After listening to these revelations, Simone questions her marriage and her position in this family that's riddled with shameful secrets.
