Agent Neil Shaw (Wesley Snipes) is called out of retirement as a Hollywood film consultant by the murder of his long-time martial arts mentor, "Mother." But Shaw soon finds himself in the midst of Washington intrigue as he uncovers a plot to assassinate several leading Senators and then finds himself set up to take the rap for a recent killing. With the help of "Mother's" daughter, Shaw goes deep undercover to save himself and to find out who's behind the plot, only to learn that there's more to this story than meets the eye.
