The Château Movie Synopsis
The orphaned Granville brothers, Graham (Rudd) and Allen, a.k.a. "Rex" (Malco), learn that, through a convoluted French law, they have unexpectedly inherited a vast château in the French countryside from an unknown, long-lost great-uncle, Count Jacques Granville. Anxious to claim their birthright, discover their roots, and cash in on this lucky break, the pair travels to France for what they think will be a quick and easy transaction.
Beyond being a brillant actor, I think Romany Malco is one of the most charismatic, beautiful black males I have had the privilege of watching on film in years. He has the classic good looks of Yul Brenner and the magnetism and stage-presence of Omar Sharif in his prime. Mr. Malco is a genuine treat to the senses.
