The City of Lost Souls

A young Japanese-Brazilian man named Mario has just gotten out of prison when he finds out that his girlfriend, a Chinese hairdresser, is about to be deported. In a daring rescue, Mario commandeers a helicopter and flies to her rescue. He saves Kei from immigration authorities and hides her away in Tokyo’s Brazilian quarter. They make plans to get leave the country by stowing away on a ship, but in order to get the money to make the trip, they steal a bundle of cash. The bundle turns out to be cocaine instead, and when Mario tries to sell it, he comes to the attention of the mafia bosses and their lives are put in danger.
