In 140 AD, 20 years after the mysterious disappearance of the entire Ninth Legion in the mountains of Scotland, young centurion Marcus Aquila (Channing Tatum) arrives from Rome to solve the mystery and restore the reputation of his father, who was the commander of the Ninth.
Although he's warned not to take his British slave Esca (Jamie Bell) for fear that he'll turn against Marcus in order to gain his freedom, the two set off on their journey across Hadrian's Wall into the uncharted highlands of Caledonia.
Okay. Good action scenes.
Unbelievably long, waiting for something to happen. Boring period piece
sad that i wasted both time and money. you know a movie is bad when you desperately hope both main characters die brutually.
