The Fisher King Movie Synopsis

After Jack Lucas (Bridges) causes one of his radio listeners to go berserk and kill a number of people in a public place, Jack has a nervous breakdown. Years later, he has lost everything he had and is living with a video rental store owner, Anne (Ruehl).

A drunken stupor puts him into trouble, and only a group of insane bums can save him. Among them is Perry (Williams). Jack soon discovers that Perry's insanity was unintentionally caused by him.

Now he feels inclined to help Perry achieve his goals, including getting a girlfriend and finding the "holy grail".

This film haunts the noisy and violent landscape of today's world. It also holds the redemptive power of healing friendship and love. I will always love this film.
