  a beautiful portrayal of ang sang suu kyi return to burma and her commitment, at great personal cost, to move the country from military dictatorship to democracy. excellent performance from michelle yeoh which captures the strength and vulnerability of the lady.

  this movie showed how this woman stood up for her country all the while sacrificing her freedom and her life with her family. a truly heartfelt movie.
