La Donna Del Lago (The Lady of the Lake) finds Bel canto superstars Joyce DiDonato in the title role and Juan Diego Flórez as the king who relentlessly pursues her. This Rossini opera is based on a novel by Sir Walter Scott and is set in the medieval Scottish highlands. Conducted by Michele Mariotti.
