The Night Listener Movie Synopsis

Writer Gabriel Noone (Robin Williams), who tells his stories on the radio, experiences a personal slump when his boyfriend Jess (Bobby Cannavale) decides to leave him. But when his editor sends him a manuscript to get his opinion, Gabriel becomes hooked by the story.

It’s written by Pete (Rory Culkin), a teenager who was taken away from his parents. They, along with their friends, sexually abused him from a young age. Now living with Donna, a social worker, Pete’s been diagnosed with AIDS. Pete and Gabriel connect via phone, but Gabriel begins to believe the boy may not really exist.

Based on the best-selling novel by Armistead Maupin.

not a bad movie, different then most...I did enjoy the actors in it and cOol to see that Robin played another gay character...lol...not that theres anything wrong with that..."famous line (quote) from a Seinfeld episode"

Robin Williams isn`t gay...... nor should he play a gay man. Quite disturbing.
