The Pledge Movie Synopsis
Detective Jarry Black (Nicholson) is just retiring from his long years on duty. But on his final case, he is determined to find the killer of a mother's (Wright-Penn) young daughter, when the police give up searching. He makes a promise to continue the search, but finds the investigation more difficult to solve without his badge and without the cops to back him up.
Through his research he finds out that the killer has struck before, and if he doesn't find this murderer soon, they will strike again.
Pretty bad. It could have been a lot better and the ending stunk.
