Based on the 1987 NFL strike that led to the teams recruiting players from
various sources (ex-college, ex-pro, minor leagues, etc.), this comedy stars
Keanu Reeves as the scab quarterback of the Washington Sentinels, a football
team coached by
Gene Hackman and owned by Jack Warden.
The movie is fun to watch! I've been watching this movie over and over again and I still like it so much that I never get tired of watching it. IT"S A FUNNY AND GOOD MOVIE TO WATCH AGAIN AND AGAIN AND . . . AGAIN!
I loved it! I hate football but loved this movie. Found it to be both funny and inspirational.
