During a routine medical examination, Helena, who is studying for a degree in Anatomical Drawing, meets Benedict, a young doctor who's recently returned from a long stay in Africa. They bond over their shared passion for anatomy and begin a passionate love affair. Their mutual desire for scientific as well as carnal knowledge of each other's bodies leads them to undertake medically intrusive procedures. Their experiments lead them on a dangerous journey.
