Jonathan Rivers (
Michael Keaton) is a successful architect whose peaceful existence is shattered by the unexplained disappearance and death of his wife, Anna (
Chandra West). Jonathan is eventually contacted by a man (
Ian McNeice), who claims to be receiving messages from Anna through EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon). At first skeptical, Jonathan then becomes convinced of the messages' validity, and is soon obsessed with trying to contact her on his own. His further explorations into EVP and the accompanying supernatural messages unwittingly open a door to another world, allowing something univited into his life.

It was great, the only reason it wasn`t perfect is cause the ending was kinda strange
the movie was recomended to me and i loved it.... we have shown our friends and they loved it too..... but i think it is the type of movie that not everyone would like.....
When I saw it the first time I was majorly freaked OUT...but then again I`m 13...anyway, I saw it with my best guy friend the first time, he was soooooo scared he needed a hug AWWW...but I didnt know this movie existed...but I`m into that stuff too! and last night my friends and I saw the movie...we were all in separate corners of the room originally, in the end the other three were on the floor shaking...and one of my friends was scared so I said,"Get out now!!!!"in her ear when grabbing on to her shoulders, she got so scared she almost started crying! and then they wouldnt go to sleep until after 2:30...lolit was awesome!!!
