Jodie Foster Jodie Foster, 51, has sold her Hollywood Hills home for $5 million – 16 months after she initially listed the mansion. The Elysium star originally put her property on the market for $6.4 million in June 2013 but when it failed to sell she changed estate agents and re-listed for $5.6 million before eventually settling for $4.995 million on Monday. According to website Trulia, the property – which Jodie purchased from model and actress Cheryl Tiegs in 1995 – features four bedrooms and a guest suite. The Spanish-style villa also boasts four full bathrooms and two half bathrooms, while there will be no problem getting warm in the winter in the abode thanks to the fireplace and the sauna.

Jodie’s former private pad also features a high hedge surrounding the pool and courtyard area, a step-down living room complete with cathedral ceiling and a huge kitchen. Built in 1935, the villa is situated in the Birds Street area of the Santa Monica Mountains region, which is very popular with celebrities. The actress might be pleased to recoup some money after splashing out $11.75 million on a five-bedroom home in Beverly Hills in June 2012, just six months after she offloaded another Beverly Hills property for $8.3 million.
