Jeremy Renner says when he hears the rumors about him being gay, it merely reassures him that he’s “now a giant movie star.”
The Avengers star told Playboy magazine that when he googled himself, the first thing that came up was “Jeremy Renner gay.”
Despite the rumors, Jeremy, 44, says he doesn’t pay attention to them. “I don’t care [if people think I’m gay]. F**king say whatever the hell you want about me. To suggest that it’s negative, that being gay is a terrible thing, a perversion or whatever — I just don’t get it.”
Instead of focusing on the rumors, the actor is focusing on Ava, his two-year-old daughter with his estranged wife, actress/model Sonni Pacheco.
“I see anything that takes me away from my daughter, whether it’s something good like making Mission: Impossible 5 or something bad like my divorce, as a distraction and an obstacle,” says Jeremy.
“Now, if anything takes me away and I don’t get to see her, I just won’t do it. I don’t care what you pay me. All my energy goes toward her and her well-being.” ~Maria-Josee Martinez

The Russo brothers have achieved a remarkable feat with Avengers: Endgame, having crafted one of the finest conclusions to a cinematic saga ever seen.
Why doesn’t he just admit it instead of dancing around it if everyone knows already? It’s sweet that his daughter comes first in his life though, it would be nice if all fathers felt that way, gay or straight.
Why do you care? He seems to be a guy with his priorities straight. I like his attitude. There’s a lot more important things to judge a person on if you must judge them.
