Amanda Bynes returned to Los Angeles because she couldn't find a place to live in New York. The
Easy A star, who is being held under an involuntary psychiatric hold in hospital for a mental evaluation after being arrested for setting a small fire in a stranger's driveway in Thousand Oaks, California, on Monday, allegedly flew back to the west coast because she couldn't access any of her money. A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com that the 27-year-old actress, who has repeatedly sparked concern for her welfare in recent months after displaying erratic behavior, decided to return to L.A. "because she had run out of money she had access to. Amanda was unable to find any place to live in New York City because of her bizarre behavior." The insider added: "No one would rent an apartment to her. She does own a house
in Calabasas (California). It's unclear how she got to California from New York."
Amanda's estranged parents, Rick and Lynn, are allegedly eager to secure a conservatorship to give them legal control of their daughter until she gets her life back on track.
