Another breakup for Mandy Moore

The seven month romance for Mandy Moore and rocker Ryan Adams is officially over. The couple, who didn’t officially go public with their dating status until March, blames their breakup on the scrutiny they faced under the media’s careful watch. Adams, known to be paparazzi-shy, says he is “allergic” to the paparazzi, and their high profile relationship only served to perpetuate his dislike for the celebrity photographers: “I found the entire speculation and subsequent photographs and intrusions terrifying and only wish to live as normal a life as possible.” This breakup is just the latest in a string of highly public romances gone awry for Moore, who has been linked to tennis player Andy Roddick, actor Wilmer Valderrama, director/actor Zach Braff, DJ AM (aka Adam Goldstein) and musician Greg Laswell.

   Aside from Andy Roddick and Wilmer Valderrama her other boyfriends are pretty ugly…Zach Braff is okay but still not that atractive…

   what’s love got to do with it? Apparently he left her because there was paparazi following them all the time and he didn’t like being in the public eye… now is that love?

   Tributegirl I do agree with you looks shouldn’t be important it’s what’s inside that count’s but what it sounds like in this story he has nothing going for him inside if he could breakup with her because of the paparazzi then you would think it would be all about the looks but this guy has nothing going for him… so in this case no I don’t think love is important…

   Nothing going for him?? Ryan Adams is one of the best and most accomplished indie songwriters of our time. If more people actually listened to good music than they’d realize it.

   No no, jennie_bearz, that’s not what I meant. I was responding to the 10:39am, July 4 post on here commenting on her boyfriends looks. I agree that if he broke up with her because of the paparazzi, then obviously there was no love in this relationship, and if there is no love, there should be no relationship, so that’s fine. I just don’t really agree with commenting on peoples physical appearance, because that is something people can’t control. They can only control the kind of person they choose to be.
