Ashley Greene has split from Reeve Carney, her boyfriend of ten months. The
Twilight Saga star has called time on her romance with the 29-year-old Broadway actor who stars in
Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark because of her hectic schedule. A source close to the 25-year-old actress told Usmagazine.com: "They are over. Reeve seems to be fine and it was just crazy with their schedules."
But friends have hinted their split could be temporary as Ashley travels around the world for a whirlwind press tour ahead of the release of final installment of the vampire series
Breaking Dawn: Part 2, which hits screens on November 16. Ashley recently admitted she finds it difficult
to hold down a relationship because she is constantly travelling for work.
The brunette beauty said: "I'm always here and there - everyone in my industry is - and that's why a lot of relationships are fleeting. I've gotten very good at detaching whenever I have to go away for three months, which I realize is hard on friends and kind of selfish. You go on a couple of dates, and then someone ships off to do a movie. It's not like you're going to fly out and see them, because it's not serious enough for that."

Hard to have a marriage/life outside of that biz then.
No, I don’t think it is selfish of you at all, because it is Your Job and that is what you’ve chosen to do, and unfortunely Ms. Greene your job requires certain sacrifices. But its not the end of the world. Your only gone for 3 months and then when you get back home, then do something together with you friends. Then when you go away again, they’ll have to understand that, as True friends do. Please consider that there are people through no fault of their own, don’t have hardly Any friends at all. So I think you are Very Fortunate to be able to see you friends and Family, at least 2-5 times a year. I don’t know how many times you would be away. Also Rejoice you get to travel So Much, when theres Lots of People who can’t even go on holidays, for 10 years or More, and those who can only have holidays for 4 or 11 days, in one year – every single year. I haven’t had a 2 week holiday in one year, for Years! BTW, I absolutely Love Twilight – one of the Best movies that have come out in long while!!
