Cops ask: Shannen who?

By Alexandra Heilbron on July 29, 2008 | 17 Comments

Shannen DohertyShannen Doherty got a rude awakening over the weekend when she went to the Sheriff’s department in Malibu to complain about the paparazzi hounding her. TMZ.com reports the deputy at the front desk had no idea who she was. When asked what she was known for, Doherty simply said she was on TV, but neglected to point out that was more than 10 years ago. The deputy apparently began asking others around him but got the same response: they’d never heard of her. In typical Doherty manner, after not getting the star treatment she demanded from the police, she left in a huff. Next up for Doherty is a return to TV in the 90210 spin-off, in the role that made her famous, at least to some people.

Those cops must be living in a cave not to know her. Maybe she was wearing sunglasses or something.

I’m amazed they didn’t taser her or beat the crap out of her! How the heck would they know who she is? Tim Horton’s only recently installed the tv’s didn’t they? 😀 LMFAO!

Do they even have Timmy’s in Malibu?

  7. thesewords • July 29, 2008 @ 11:11 PM

actually, most of the original cast members said that they wont come back for the spin-off if shannen doherty is there, and you know what? thats what she gets for leaving the show in the ifrst place.
btw Nancy, theres no Timmy’s in the states at all, its a canadian thing.

Tim Horton’s coffee shops are in the US, but I don’t think they go as far as Malibu. I know they are in New York and Michigan but I don’t think they go as far as Malibu.

Hey Nancy, what’s with the taser and beating comments, and the snide donut shop reference? Don’t you enjoy living as safely and securely as possible, just like the rest of us, at the expense of the very police force you’re mocking? Next time you, or one of the people you love, have need of the courageous services of our men and women in blue, I hope you’ll have the grace to be ashamed of your appallingly cheap comments.

well done, Vicki, she’s been shamelessly slamming the police force for weeks now, under the delusion she’s witty.

some people you just can’t help…maybe she should set her 911 line on her phones to Tim Horton’s and maybe they’ll rush over a cheese croissant next time she’s in need of police services

I think shannen should give up on the hollywood career she’s not that good of an actress to be making demands and with that kind of attitude she won’t be getting any work..

I said no such thing…referring to donut shops! I referred to Tim Hortons “coffee shop”! 😀 Jo-Anne, Vicky and yourself are the ones who are delusional if the two of you actually believe that we are “living as safely and securely as possible”! I, personally, am not and will not be “ashamed”.

    Shannen who? 92210 spinoff?….what?

…and by the way, currently there happens to be over 350 Tim Horton’s in the US (Michigan, Maine, Connecticut, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York) as well as mobile locations in Irag and Afghanistan!

  14. tammy • August 1, 2008 @ 6:19 PM

wow dave i guess tim’s is doing quite well for themselves eh?

  15. tributegirl • August 3, 2008 @ 10:18 AM

Tim’s is doing very well, and I am very pleased that they are now in the U.S. I love my Timmie’s coffee, so when I visit the U.S. I can still have my favorite. Never been a fan of Starbucks, not because it’s American or anything, I just don’t like the flavours.
But this Shannen Doherty thing! VERY funny!

  16. Nancy • August 3, 2008 @ 9:33 PM

Yes, Starbucks is also VERY expensive and you can find one on practically every corner. 😀

  17. tributegirl • August 4, 2008 @ 12:33 PM

Yeah, and I don’t really like Starbucks. The price is a definite turn off, but I just don’t like it. I like my medium single/single at timmies.
