Nicholas Brendon Criminal Minds star Nicholas Brendon, 43, has been arrested after allegedly trashing his Florida hotel room on February 16.

Nicholas, who also starred on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 1996 to 2003 as Xander Harris, was in Fort Lauderdale for Pop Shock Comic Con. He was charged with grand theft and criminal mischief.

According to reports, hotel staff called the police after finding Nicholas passed out on the floor of a staff member’s office. Nicholas allegedly trashed his room at the Hilton hotel, ringing up a bill of $450 in damages and $380 in food and beverages, which he allegedly refused to pay.

Andrea Albin, a representative for Bloody Bombshell Entertainment, confirmed the arrest on Nicholas’ Facebook page in a post, which reads in part, “We’re aware of the arrest. We appreciate the love. We want nothing more than for Nick to focus on his health and personal well being at this time.”

According to a rep for the star, his team is doing everything they can to ensure his recovery, saying, “Nicholas is, unfortunately, battling a disease that many of us don’t understand.”

Nicholas was previously arrested last October in Boise, Idaho while in town to attend Tree City Comic Con and was charged with resisting or obstructing officers and malicious injury to property.

The arrest comes just days after Nicholas announced that he and his wife of four months are calling it quits. ~Sandra D. Sukraj
