Green Hornet tops North American box office

The Green Hornet topped the North American box office last weekend, taking over the top spot and earning an estimated $34 million. Tribute users rated it 3.7 out of 5 stars. The weekend’s other new film, The Dilemma, opened in second place with $17.4 million and a Tribute user rating of 3 stars. Last weekend’s top movie, True Grit (Tribute user rating 4.2 stars), was bumped to third place, earning an additional $11.2 million. The Golden Globe-winning film The King’s Speech, which has a Tribute user rating of 4.6 stars, grossed $9.1 million in the fourth spot, moving up five places from its ninth place finish last weekend. Black Swan (Tribute user rating 4.2 stars) held onto fifth place, earning $8.13 million for a seven-week take of $72.99 million.

    Really..this has always been a low budget cheaper version of Batman. Rich kid, dead father, now fights crimes and looks like the anti-hero doing it all. Cheaper car too. Video.
