Actors injured in carjacking

24 actress Carly Pope and her actor brother, Kris Pope, were the victims of a carjacking Tuesday afternoon in Vancouver. According to the Globe and Mail, a screaming man jumped on the roof of the black BMW that Kris was driving, in which Carly was a passenger, when they stopped at a traffic light. When a witness in another car got out to call 911, the man jumped off the hood and ran off. When Kris got out of the car to exchange information with the witness, the man returned, jumped behind the wheel and drove off with Carly still in the car. He slammed the BMW into five other cars before crashing into a CBC building. Carly suffered a broken rib and cuts to the face, while her brother injured his ankle, wrist and face when he grabbed onto the door of the moving car as the man was kidnapping his sister. Both had concussions. Carly plays Samantha Roth on 24, and was a regular on the WB series Popular. Kris has appeared on shows such as Smallville, Dark Angel and Bionic Woman. ~Alexandra Heilbron
holy smokes. that would have been terrifying for them both!! imagine watching someone drive off with your sister in the car!!! im glad they didnt get hurt beyond what they suffered from the car injuries. the world is a sick, sick place!
