Actress and former model Estella Warren ran into trouble with L.A. police on Monday night — and then got herself into a bigger hole by resisting arrest, kicking a cop and trying to escape. The Peterborough, Ontario native, best known for roles in Planet of the Apes and Kangaroo Jack, was summoned by police after hitting three parked cars in three separate incidents, according to a rep from the L.A. Sheriff’s Department. Warren failed to stop for police when they tried to pull her over, and then kicked an officer after the LAPD charged her for driving under the influence. “She was uncooperative and demanding,” the department rep told People magazine, citing that she later wiggled out of her handcuffs and fled the police station where she was being held, only to be found by the police once again. One law enforcement official told TMZ that Warren “was really hammered.” Despite the rowdy behavior, Warren was released from jail yesterday afternoon after posting $100,000 bail. She is due in court June 14th.
Wiggled out of her handcuffs…?
Peterborough FTW!
Another jobless actress going down the wrong path. Sad really.
Poor behaviour by Estella certainly, but how the heck did she get off of the cuffs and more importantly, out of the station? Somebody messed up.
Really… She should now travel in a magic act. Gets her working again.
I was once handcuffed and slipped out of the cuffs, then handed them to the cops. It’s easy when you have small hands and wrists. Plus, cops are really stupid. You don’t need a degree to be on the police force.
I agree Angela. Thanks for your thoughts.
She enoys to have a drink, she’s sexy, and crafty.
What’s not to like? lol
More proof Canadians rule…
It is easy for many women to slip out of handcuffs due to small hands and wrists but as far as Angela’s comment about cops being stupid and not needing a degree, you obviously know very little about law enforcement so become informed before you make “ASSumed” opinions.
Angela Angela, tsk tsk, when you are robbed/raped/hurt in any manner or someone close to you is, please don’t call a cop. They are apparently stupid. But if by chance they solve your case or help you from the goodness of their hearts, be sure to thank them. For those police men and women out there, don’t listen to Angela and thank you for catching drunk drivers and hit and runs and missing children, and consoling grieving families etc…
