As American Idol progresses and evolves, we are definitely going to be seeing some new faces on the judging panel. With Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez taking over for the original judges, the producers seem to want a variety of outlooks giving the contestants feedback. They've had everything from record producers to talk show hosts as judges, but where should Idol go next? How about a past contestant? For the upcoming season, one former contestant may get to see the competition from the other side of the table, giving a unique perspective from someone who has been through the process. Sources say Adam Lambert, Season 8 runner up, has been invited to replace Jennifer Lopez, who's not planning to return. Her fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler are also up in the air about returning. ~Morgan Bates
