Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert beat out others such as Robert Pattinson, James Franco and Leonardo DiCaprio in a public online vote conducted by British site Flecking Records to find out who is the “Sexiest Male Celebrity of the Year.” The top 10 are:
1. Adam Lambert
2. Dougie Poynter
3. Danny Jones
4. Zac Efron
5. Ian Somerhalder
6. Robert Pattinson
7. Johnny Depp
8. Leonardo DiCaprio
9. Matthew Fox
10. James Franco
Some of these guys aren’t known in Canada, so we’re doing our own poll to find out who our readers think is the Sexiest Male Celebrity on this side of the pond. Do you think Adam Lambert is the sexiest? Vote in our online poll (at right) and we’ll post the results next week!

Adam Lambert is sexy to many, many females, he ticks so many boxes, physically attractive, talented, warm, confident, courageous, intelligent and gentle. If you don’t think Adam has a good personality than its obvious that you haven’t seen the interviews he has done. Adam is articulate, intelligent, and funny. Not only is Adam physically attractive with those beautiful eyes, lips, and great hair, but he has a smile that lights up his entire face. Its the person that is sexy not the body. There are a lot of guys with great bodys that are complete a**holes. Don’t judge people by looks only or you’ll always be disappointed. And as for the selection of Leo – how is he sexy? If you’re going by looks his body isn’t anything special and he has an average nice looking face. Nothing special about his features or hair. Adam Lambert by far and no one else even comes close to that man. I met him in Sept in Tampa and he is most definitely a beautiful soul both inside and out. He’s articulate, very very down to earth, warm and genuine. Add all of this to his amazingly gorgeous looks and with one of the best damn voices I’ve ever heard in years, which to me, makes him the sexiest celebrity of the decade.

LOL jjones. I just went to see Rock of Ages and laughed my head off. Everyone of the male characters was fully decked out in make-up and lady-locked hairstyles and the girls were all over them. Major montage of all the 80’s bands in teased hair, make-up and exposed lower torsos. (Man, those guys had to stay in shape.)The over 40 crowd wasn’t batting an eye or thinking of any of them as gay.
