It has been a busy few months for celebrity engagements. Gilmore Girls‘ Alexis Bledel, 31, and Mad Men’s Vincent Kartheiser, 33, are the latest duo to join the growing list. The two met when Alexis made a guest appearance on his show, playing his character’s mistress. While their relationship on the show was doomed to fail, the two couldn’t be happier off-screen. It turns out that the couple have actually been engaged for a while. “Vincent proposed a few weeks ago. She’s been wearing her ring. It’s huge!” a friend of the couple told US Weekly. It isn’t a surprise that the news took so long to surface, as they have been extremely quite about their private life from the get-go and are not saying when or where the wedding will take place. ~Brittnee Fleming
