Stephen Moyer and Anna PaquinAnna Paquin, 27, and her True Blood co-star, Stephen Moyer, 39, who plays her vampire love on the HBO series, have announced their engagement. This is the first marriage for both, though Moyer has two children — a nine-year-old son and a seven-year-old daughter from two previous relationships. Paquin, who won a Golden Globe for her work in the series, was born in Canada but raised in New Zealand, while Moyer is from England. The two began dating last year after filming the pilot for the Golden Globe-nominated show, now in its third season.

Way to go , Anna . He is one hot bloodsucker!

  2. Tori • August 7, 2009 @ 10:11 AM

Cough cough *Second Season* Cough chough

  3. bublles • August 7, 2009 @ 12:28 PM

one would think that will all the fame and fortune, Paquin would fix the gap in her teeth.

  4. Cheryl • August 7, 2009 @ 1:16 PM

I love that she doesn’t change that gap and that when she’s not playing Sookie, she goes back to her natural brunette hair. The gap makes her cute and unique, unlike all the cookie cutter female actors out there.

  5. Kolleen • August 7, 2009 @ 1:37 PM

I too like her gap. I think this is great, they are very cute together.

  6. KC • August 7, 2009 @ 2:08 PM

As a dental assistant, I too hate the gap (diastema) in her teeth. It’s not just about being “hollywood” but it’s about the health of the teeth. She could get gum disease there if she’s not careful!!

  7. mandee • August 7, 2009 @ 2:34 PM

she should, for real, fix that gap. its disgusting. hes gorgeous. congrats!

  8. Carolyn • August 7, 2009 @ 2:52 PM

Well, obviously he doesn’t mind the gap in her teeth…why should you? What about Madonna’s gap teeth?
Hollywood? What does that mean? If she was “Hollywood” as you put it..her teeth would be perfect.

  9. Rosee • August 7, 2009 @ 3:00 PM

I think that the gap makes her more down to earth… unlike some other people. *cough cough* miley cyrus .. demi lovatato. and wow is he HOT

  10. T • August 7, 2009 @ 3:17 PM

It still surprises me how mean people can be. I’m sure those of you who are being critical aren’t perfect either! To say that something about someone’s appearance is disgusting is pretty horrible, not to mention tacky. I’m sure if they wanted to, people could pick any one of you apart too!

  11. Karen Brown • August 7, 2009 @ 7:24 PM

Anna, I hope you’re reading between the lines….he has children from 2 – count ’em – 2 previous relationships? Hell-lo!

  12. twilight fan • August 7, 2009 @ 9:48 PM

Good for her! They look so cute together. Ang gap or no gap she so pretty and I think her having the gap makes her unique because people in “Hollywood” are way to obessed with their image as where I think she’s perfect on her own and doesn’t need to follow a specific image

  13. mandee • August 7, 2009 @ 10:41 PM

t, talk about trying to pick on only one person that said she should get the gap fixed. i have the right to think that gap looks disgusting, and it does. i think madonnas looks disgusting too. about miley cyrus, she had braces put on behind her teeth, they already said that. young men and women get braces ALL THE TIME, you dont have to be “hollywood” to have good teeth, or teeth without a disgusting gap between them. if i had a horrendous gap in my teeth id NEVER smile like that so everyone could see it. its gross.

  14. Hazel • August 7, 2009 @ 11:41 PM

Congrats to them both. I know they both have had previous relationships and he has two children but that sure doesn’t mean that they haven’t found something special in each other. This could be the one for both of them and we should all just be happy for them that they have found someone special to share their lives with, if forever or a little while. There are other people out there who never find that someone and it gives them hope to see two people who have. It looks to me that they are truely in love. I’m happy for them both. Congrats again guys.

If most of you might remember Ms. Pacquin actually won as Oscar for hewr role in The Piano in 1994, when she was 12. She is recognized by her gap, it is her trade mark. Why should she change her trade mark? That is ludicrous. Why is it that everyone wants people to be all be the same? How boring the world would be if everyone had perfect teeth, and perfect bodies! As for her dental health… gum disease is an issue for EVERYONE regardless if you have a gap! Brush and floss regularly and see a dentist every 6 months and her changes at gum disease are the same as everyone else.

  16. mandee • August 8, 2009 @ 2:55 AM

    Hazel on August 7, 2009 11:41 PM i completely agree 🙂

Sorsha on August 8, 2009 1:02 AM i never said PERFECT teeth or that everyone should have perfect teeth. NO ONE should have a gap.

  17. rhynoceros • August 8, 2009 @ 9:00 AM

that gross gapped tooth bitc… jk! i saw Stephen Moyer on Conan and he was like super girly and retarded… it made me want to cry

  18. shelly • August 8, 2009 @ 12:50 PM

as a fellow gap toother, it’s not like she’s missing her teeth. its a gap, get over it, and try accepting people the way the are. shallow people and their idea of what perfection is suppose to be.. why not try fixing your own flaws.

on a side note, congrats to them both..:)

  19. mandee • August 8, 2009 @ 1:51 PM

i JUST said im not shallow, nor am i perfect. but a gap is just wrong.

  20. Sorsha • August 8, 2009 @ 2:22 PM

How can you say you are not shallow and then judge someone for having a gap between there teeth?

  21. Vamp Tramp • August 8, 2009 @ 2:50 PM

    Wow…lucky, lucky girl!!

  22. mandee • August 8, 2009 @ 4:43 PM

im not judging HER based on her gap, im saying the gap ITS SELF is ugly. if she was fat, or ugly, or had a disfigurement that couldnt be helped, i wouldnt say anything, which clearly means im not shallow. i dont personally care how a person looks, but a gap in your teeth is disgusting and wrong. what if he kisses her and his tongue gets wedged in between the gap and he cant get it out? it CAN happen. like i said, no one is perfect, but when it comes to your teeth you have absolutely NO EXCUSE to not get them straightened out, ESPECIALLY if youre rich.

  23. Eileen • August 8, 2009 @ 4:51 PM

    That’s shallow.

  24. mandee • August 8, 2009 @ 6:03 PM

no it isnt. i cant help that none of you understand what im trying to say. so meh, think what you want.

  25. Panda888 • August 8, 2009 @ 11:27 PM

If Lauren Hutton is considered a super model with a gap, Anna Paquin’s gap is just as acceptable. Perfection is boring.

  26. jackeline • August 9, 2009 @ 12:02 AM

hey congrats to the couple they are cute together

  27. mandee • August 9, 2009 @ 1:45 AM

if perfection is boring, then perhaps youll be the next one they call shallow? gaps are disgusting, in the way that perfection is boring.

  28. Toni August 9th, 2009 • August 9, 2009 @ 1:17 PM

I think they are perfect just the way they are. I love watching both of them.

  29. ann • August 9, 2009 @ 4:58 PM

Why do you people even care if she has a gap in her teeth? So f**king what!? why must you discuss something so stupid. If she feels the need to fix it, she will. And if her dentist feels she should fix it, they will. I never even noiced it while watching the show. Just say your conratulations, and stop Criticizing.

  30. Biscuit • August 9, 2009 @ 6:21 PM

Get a life… All of you. Ridiculous.

  31. mandee • August 9, 2009 @ 6:46 PM

considering her teeth are clearly a part of this article (given the picture they used) i have the right to discuss or criticize anything i want. its a GOSSIP SITE we are here to GOSSIP. if you dont like it, dont read the comments. and i have a life biscuit, i also have a brain and an opinion. i dont care if you or anyone else likes it. her gap is terrifying.

  32. FUMJA • August 10, 2009 @ 3:12 AM

TERRIFYING? EASY THERE TIGGER. YOU MAKE IT SOUND LIKE YOUR GONNA GET STUCK IN THAT GAP!! NOT VERY CLASSY!!

  33. Dani • August 10, 2009 @ 10:17 AM

A gap, is a gap, is a gap. I don’t think you’re shallow for not appreciating it, but I do believe in character teeth, and the importance of standing out in Hollywood, where stick-thin, blonde and perfect white teeth are the standard. Besides, sometimes it’s in the actress’ best interest to keep the signature trait that she was given, I mean, look what happened to Jennifer Grey aftedr she did in her inconic nose?? (What? You don’t even know who I’m talking about? My point exactly.)

  34. Krazy • August 10, 2009 @ 12:07 PM

If she gets rid of the gap…….she has a pair of Chicklets

  35. mandee • August 11, 2009 @ 2:31 AM

im not scared lol, i just think its gross. you make fun of me when you cant even see me and you dont even know me, so wouldnt that make you shallow as well?

  36. mlm • August 11, 2009 @ 9:15 AM

well you did say the gap is terrifying. no one needs to see you or know you to make fun of you, you do it all the time.

  37. Cheezynsleazy • August 12, 2009 @ 1:25 AM

this guys freakin ugly! Looks like a greaseball. She’s no prize either but I’d let her hold my cigarette in that gap.

  38. tributegirl • August 12, 2009 @ 3:49 PM

mandee, that’s hilarious, him getting his tongue stuck in there!
    Cheezynsleezy, ummmm, okkkk….
Anyway, I don’t like the looks of the gap, but I don’t find it to be a big deal, if she wanted it fixed, she’d fix it. Actually what bothers me more than that is all these young guys going around with their pants below their *sses, or these rap “artists” with their weird hand/finger gestures.

  39. mandee • August 12, 2009 @ 3:52 PM

careful tg, youll be the next one labeled as “shallow”. so, i got 2 jobs now. trying to decide which one to do. one if for subway part time, the other is for an assistant to a home day care, but its only 200 a week and id have to pay gas and take my own taxes out for when its time to do income tax. anyone know how much tax theyd take from 800 a month??

  40. tributegirl • August 12, 2009 @ 4:39 PM

LMAO mandee!!! Ah well, they can call me what they want, I never said the gap was wrong or anything, just that I don’t care for it, but whatever.
Anyway, re the jobs, CONGRATS!!!!! Let me know what you decide! As far as the amount of tax they’d take, I don’t know, but whatever it is, it wouldn’t leave you with a whole lot. Personally I’d go for the subway job, they take care of the whole tax issue, I think you can transfer to other sites, etc, but either way, let me know! Awesome!

  41. mandee • August 12, 2009 @ 5:23 PM

thanks. im still applying other places, ill let you know what i decide in the end. 🙂 its about 25 mins from my house for the daycare, so i turned that down. my mom thinks i should wait and call northern lights and see if they will pay for me to start school for sept or for jan. i have no idea lol. ill keep you updated 🙂

  42. mandee • August 12, 2009 @ 11:07 PM

well, she told me i misunderstood what she said and ill be making around 400 a week, so i ended up taking the day care job. i start she said probably august 31. 😀

  43. aprilshowers • August 13, 2009 @ 12:54 AM

    Panda888 on August 8, 2009 11:27 PM

Exactly what I was thinking re: Lauren Hutton (and the whole post is GREAT!!)

  44. demigod • August 13, 2009 @ 5:18 AM

Seinfeld: Hate the gap! lol She kinda looks jewish too.

  45. tributegirl • August 13, 2009 @ 9:46 PM

$400 a week, awesome! As far as going back to school, that’s a great idea, but I don’t think you’d want to turn down work “just in case” you go back to school, because what if you don’t? And if you decide to, then you can give up the job, but between now & then, might as well make some money! Woo Hoo, Congratulations!

  46. mandee • August 13, 2009 @ 11:36 PM

thanks 😀 im so excited. i still wanna go to school, but i will have to wait until sept of next year now because thats the only part time they have sept – june. so i will work here for a year then sign up for school 🙂

  47. tributegirl • August 14, 2009 @ 4:22 PM

That’s fantastic! Do you know what you will register for, for school? I remember you talking about cooking school, is that still of interest?

  48. mandee • August 14, 2009 @ 5:32 PM

actually right now im leaning more towards personal support worker. i think id have a better time one on one with someone than working in a kitchen filled with others, and i love elderly people. its a job that will always be in demand, and if i cant get any clients (where i can work in their homes) i can work in a senior citizen home. i have a friend that is available to go with me as well 😀

  49. tributegirl • August 14, 2009 @ 10:20 PM

Oh wow, I think that would be excellent! And I think there is a high demand for them as well, so you’d be practically guaranteed a job! Plus, I don’t know exactly what the cost of the course is, but I don’t think it’s that bad compared to a lot of other courses. Oh yeah, that reminds me, I remember you saying you have a hard time saving money, any plans to maybe open a new account or something? My daughter has a “car fund” right now, she can put money in, but doesn’t allow herself to take money out, she also gives herself an “allowance”, every pay she takes so much out, and that’s all she’s allowed to spend until next “allowance day” (payday). She’s been very strict with these rules, and is really saving up really well.

  50. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 12:30 PM

that sounds like a great idea, im glad your daughter is doing soo well with it !! i cant open a new bank account and save money in it because i owe money to collection agencies from past credit cards i was unable to pay when i lost my other job a few years back. but, i intend on saving money, the class for psw is only 500 and then i have to get a tb test, buy books and 2 uniforms and new shoes. so it shouldnt be much more than around 800. which wouldnt take much to save up if im making close to 400 a week. thats only 100 less than i made for an entire month in my last work lol. i figure though, once i start working for the daycare that by the time i get home in the afternoon, ill be too tired to spend the money lol. partly because im more a night hawk than i am a morning person, and partly because theres going to be 10 kids plus her 2, so it should be tiring. 😀

  51. tributegirl • August 15, 2009 @ 5:09 PM

haha, oh yeah, you should be good and tired! Well, I hope you find a way to hide that money somewhere and not touch it, and I think that course is an excellent idea. I also think you’ll enjoy working with the kids, even though it will be in the morning!

  52. mandee • August 15, 2009 @ 8:18 PM

i agree, im going to have a great time. i love them when they are small like that, misty is big now and doesnt really WANT to do anything fun. it will also be a good learning experience for me. she said she has all the meals and playtime and circle time etc ideas all ready but she wants me to come and start on the 31st even though she will only have a few kids because she wants my input on them. if you can think of anything that would be fun or good for daycare children, lemme know please. i am open to all suggestions 😀 ill let you know off and on how im doing at saving money. its extremely hard for me but i have to learn.

  53. tributegirl • August 17, 2009 @ 10:51 PM

Try to find out their likes and dislikes, and use that info when planning activities. Kids quickly let you know what they like and what they don’t!
