Anne Hathaway‘s ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy. Hathaway’s ex, who recently said that it was his star girlfriend’s glamorous ways that prompted his to launder money, delivered a statement that read, “The most important thing I want the court to know is I was not raised with bad values. I started off with good intentions, determined to run an honorable business and make everyone proud of me.” Hathaway dated Follieri for four years and dumped him just before he was arrested.

Poor Anne. She is such a beautiful, talented and genuinely nice person. It’s such a shame that she mixed up with such a loser. Hopefully she finds someone who isn’t prone to stealing money.
