Audrina Patridge is making the move from the reality TV show, The Hills, to the big screen. While fellow costars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag have made an entrance into the fashion world, Patridge wants to continue acting. The reality TV star has joined the cast of Into the Blue 2, the sequel to the original film starring Jessica Alba. Patridge will act alongside Chris Carmack (The O.C.), and Laura Vandervoort (Smallville). Carmack and Vandervoort play a married couple who are hired to dive for Columbus’ hidden treasure. Patridge will play a no-nonsense beach babe whose boyfriend caters to her every demand. Details are still in the works but Into the Blue 2 is expected to hit theaters in 2010.
