In this behind-the-scenes featurette, director/writer/producer James Cameron talks about his vision for Avatar — why he initially put the screenplay in a drawer and forgot about it — and why he felt he was finally ready to bring it to the screen. We’re also introduced to some of the characters from Avatar and hear what the stars have to say about their experiences making the movie, including Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Michelle Rodriguez.

Looks pretty good from the video, but the real special effects happen when you watch it on the big screen in 3-D! It’s a must see!
