This Thursday, July 12, Mirvish Productions is offering fans the opportunity to go behind the scenes of the stage production War Horse at The Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto.

Find out how this spectacular show was developed — from original concept, through workshops, to first performances, and then to productions around the world. You’ll meet Joey and Topthorn.

You’ll get inside information about how these majestic puppets work. You’ll find out how the various scenic elements come together to create War Horse.  As a bonus, one lucky audience member will have the opportunity to ride Joey on the stage of the Princess of Wales Theatre.

Bring your cameras, because for this special event only, photography and video recording will be allowed in the Princess of Wales Theatre for the first time ever. Although admission is free, you need to have a ticket to get in. Tickets can be obtained by phone at 416-872-1212. The shows starts at 2 p.m. and runs for one hour. War Horse is based on a book by Michael Morpurgo and was also made into a movie by director Steven Spielberg.
