Big stars to become one-hit wonders

By Tribute on March 4, 2012 | 4 Comments

Several big names are reportedly in talks for a project being spearheaded by Glee and Eat Pray Love creator Ryan Murphy — a film called One Hit Wonder. The movie will be about three female vocalists who each reached the climax of their separate careers in the ’90s, but then, like so many others, their 15 minutes of fame ended. They come together to form an all-girl supergroup to help relieve the stress of their failures and hopefully gain some new successes. Pegged for the roles of the three leading ladies are Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow. Other stars amidst the movie details are Andy Samberg from Saturday Night Live and new mom, Beyoncé, whose role is still unknown. Murphy is reportedly planning to begin work on One Hit Wonder after completing his big-screen adaptation of the popular play The Normal Heart. ~Renita Naraine

Ryan Murphy is easily the least talented person in hollywood. his crass, heteronormative crap should be protested rather than embraced. it’s so counterproductive and ignorance and his narratives are completely desultory.

That’s just a little harsh winnie. I actually thought he did a good job with Eat Pray Love…which he took from a BOOK so how was that “heteronormative” and “coutnerproductive” and “ignorant”? And are you forgetting about all the crazy Glee fans? He must be doing something right!

Ill see it. I hate Ryan Murphy 4 thinking Glee as a cash cow and not quality entertainment and writing horrible story line (in my opinion) but I love Reese Witherspoon so I will see it
