Billy Joel’s daughter Alexa Ray Joel, 23, was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after she took an overdose of Traumeel, a homeopathic anti-inflammatory medication in an apparent suicide attempt. A source told the New York Daily News she has battled depression since breaking up with her boyfriend and former bandmate, Jimmy Riot. Paramedics arrived on scene following a 911 call from Alexa’s roommate at 12:30 p.m. Her mother, Christie Brinkley, arrived at the hospital at 4:20 p.m. and stayed by her daughter’s side in the hospital until she was released Saturday evening. Alexa will be recuperating at her father’s estate on Long Island. “She is going to be fine,” her father told Newsday. ~Alexandra Heilbron

they released her already? “she is going to be fine”?!?!? man, she just tried to KILL herself, shes NOT going to be fine until she gets medical help.
Unless, however, it wasnt a suicide attempt. There could be a million and one other possibilities to the drug overdose, if thats what it was in the first place…

Women sure suck at these ‘attempts’. If you truly want to be equals,you have to start taking your lives in greater numbers
women are smarter then men so why would we do that?
