Cate BlanchettOscar winner Cate Blanchett has stopped washing her hair in an effort to do her part to save the planet. The Aussie actress says she’s installed timers around her home to restrict energy levels including one on her showerhead. She’s now reportedly not washing her hair and has said:  “I only need to have a two minute shower. I’m extremely concerned about climate change as a mother, because I want to ensure for my children a very safe and sustainable future. The star has also limited her car use and has switched her household power supply to green power.

There are ways you can get rid of oily hair, if you don’t wash your hair for awhile. It’s not that hard to figure it out how. If Cate wants to stop washing her hair, let her do it. It’s her decisions. At least she has an excellent reason of doing it. Sooner or later, people would slowly start doing the same thing too.

She’s from Australia anyhow, don’t they just go for months out there with the kangaroos and not wash themselves??
People with millions of dollars should be expected to be the first to go green anyhow, seeing they are the only ones who can afford it. If these companies weren’t also in it for the money they would make it more affordable to the common man!!!!

A priest leads by example rather than by the speech of a preacher. Where there is a lead, others will follow . . .

your hair doesnt need to be washed as much as people do, ppl didnt use to wash their hair at all, they would bathe once a month. you hair has natural oils that keep it healthy, and if you stop washing your hair within a month or so it will keep itself clean. besides she still showers so its not like she is going to smell or anything SHE IS DOING HER PART IN SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT!
you should all do your own part in this, we all destroyed the world together now we all must save it together.
