Bob Hoskins dead of pneumonia at age 71

Bob Hoskins has died at the age of 71. The actor, who was born in Suffolk, England, passed away in hospital after suffering from pneumonia, according to his publicist Clair Dobbs. The condition results in inflammation of the tissue in one or both of the lungs and is usually caused by an infection. His acting career began in 1969 at the Unity Theatre but he retired in 2012 after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
The beloved actor's career spanned four decades, during which time he appeared in almost 80 films. He is best known for his roles as Smee in Steven Spielberg's Hook, as P.I. Eddie Valiant in Disney's live action/animation crossover Who Framed Roger Rabbit? and as Harold in the cult British gangster movie The Long Good Friday. He was awarded a Golden Globe, a BAFTA and received an Oscar nomination for his standout performance in Mona Lisa. Bob's final role saw him star opposite Kristen Stewart as one of the seven dwarves in Snow White & The Huntsman. He is survived by his second wife and children - two from his first marriage to Jane Livesey and two from his second to Linda Banwell. "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Bob," read a statement from Linda and children Alex, Sarah, Rosa and Jack.

He was such a good actor in his movies. I love when he played Mario in Super Mario Bros. That was an awesome movie with King Koopa and Princess Daisy. John Legizamo and Bob Hoskins was such good actors in there movies. RIP to Bob Hoskins.
