Captain America returns to the big screen

Captain America is back in the highly anticipated sequel to the 2011 blockbuster that introduced us to the first Avenger! Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and a slew of other actors, Captain America: The Winter Soldier picks up two years after the events that occured in The Avengers, as Steve Rogers/Captain America struggles to adapt to the modern world. Opening in limited cities today is Afflicted, a dark story about two best friends filming their adventures while traveling the world, but they get sidetracked when one of them is found covered in blood in their hotel room. Also opening in limited release today: Jason Priestley‘s impressive directorial debut, the award-winning Cas & Dylan, starring Richard Dreyfuss and Tatiana Maslany, Yuval Adler’s drama Bethlehem and an impressive selection of documentaries, including Jodorowsky’s Dune and the IMAX short film Island of Lemurs: Madagascar.
