It’s official. Captain America will be getting a new sidekick in the sequel. Anthony Mackie, known for his roles in The Hurt Locker and The Adjustment Bureau, will play sidekick Falcon in the film alongside lead actor Chris Evans. Falcon is one of the first black superheroes, whose abilities include flight and telepathic links which give him power over all birds. With Mackie’s previous films, including Million Dollar Baby, Half Nelson and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, he has caught the attention of audiences as an upcoming actor. The confirmation of Mackie’s role in the Captain America sequel follows the announcement of the sequel’s title, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which was revealed at Comic-Con last Saturday. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in April 2014. ~Isabelle Khoo

I wonder if anyone put the link together that Anthony Mackie and Chris Evans were already in a movie together? 'What's Your Number' , Chris was the love interest and he was digging for Anna Ferris' x's contact info and he found Mackie for her in Washington DC and he was gay.
I wonder if people are going to complain about racism in this movie. Of course, the Captain and star is white and the side kick is black and talks to birds.
The comic book character Falcon has always been African-American and Captain America's sidekick. There is no racism.
