Charlie Sheen has Anger Management issues

By Tribute on February 16, 2012 | 26 Comments

Charlie Sheen says he’s over Two and a Half Men and yet he just can’t seem to let it go. The actor is gearing up to debut his new FX series Anger Management later this year and to market the film with domestic and international buyers at a recent TV convention, he distributed promotional photos of himself. The only problem was the photos he used were actually from his stint on Two and a Half Men, which are still the legal property of the show’s producers, Warner Bros. The company has served Sheen and his new bosses at FX with a cease-and-desist letter demanding that they stop using the photos to promote their new series. The letter also bans the show’s production company, Debmar-Mercury, from using “Warner’s intellectual property for a commercial purpose — namely, to sell another show.” Sheen, his reps, or anyone representing FX or Debmar-Mercury have yet to make any public statements about the dispute.

duh, in the entertainment world this should have been a NO BRAINER. WB does indeed own those rights, and for Sheen and his partners to think they could get away with using this material is laughable. Kind of makes you wonder what kind of “smarts” that whole circus has?

Who cares. Would anyone have even noticed that they were from Two and a Half Men? After all that is what he’s known for.

It would be really funny though of his show does better than Warner’s show. I think it will he’s hilarious!

Charlie Sheen should fade in to the background. He’s history and although I enjoyed his show, I am now enjoying the new show just as much, without him.

Is it just me or is he looking a lot like Freddy Krueger?

Everyone deserves a chance to turn their live around>….let’s wish him well and for W.B. to “let it go” also….it really is no skin off them if Charlie uses a couple of photos of himself.

  8. David • February 16, 2012 @ 2:51 PM

He will do well. People seem to watch this guy. And who cares if he used his two and a half men picture. They are, after all, pictures of Sheen so what else would WB use them for?

  9. Stephanie • February 16, 2012 @ 4:22 PM

By him using their pictures thats probably the most publicity they get. They should be happy.

  10. MJ • February 16, 2012 @ 4:22 PM

But its the principle. Its their property and he’s using tehm without persmission. That’s wrong. But then when has charlie sheen ever been one to do the right thing let’s be honest

A series called Anger Management. Really, who came up with that bright idea. They should have produced a series called “How to Act Like a Complete Psycho on the Net After Purposefully Losing the Best Paying Job (2 1/2 Men) You’ll Ever Get”. Good luck Charlie and remember from your past mistakes…don’t bitch the hand that feds you.

  12. My opinion • February 16, 2012 @ 8:52 PM

A mini series called “Anger Management” with Charlie as lead role. Although he fits the part perfectly, this mini series looks like another big flop.

They should have a mini series called “How Charlie Can Act Like a Complete Psycho Again” and hope that he realizes that he purposefully threw away a great big paying role (2 1/2 Men). Remember Charlie…never bite the hand that feds you and that everyone is replacable.

  13. yuck • February 16, 2012 @ 11:27 PM

he looks like Freddy Krueger with hair in that picture!

  14. yuck • February 16, 2012 @ 11:29 PM

oh oops, didn’t realize someone else had noticed the resemblance!

  15. Bill • February 17, 2012 @ 12:06 AM

Charlie was 2 1/2 men , he carried the show and made it his own just like he will do in his new series. i have watched the new one with Ashton and it is no where as good as when charlie was there. 2 1/2 men will be blowen out of the water. his first episode will be the most watched in history to date. Even with his down falls he is still a great actor

  16. elaine • February 17, 2012 @ 3:52 AM

Charlie was the 2 1/2 men, the new show they can keep it. Charlie made the show and he will make the new show without him on 2 2/1 men its just not the same

  17. Yvonne • February 17, 2012 @ 8:05 AM

So, if you use your photo for one option, you can’t use it again. How screwed up is that. After all, the image is of Charlie and not his character. So much legal bs. He made 2 1/2 men and now they can’t let it go. The new show sucks as many predicted. Chuck Lorre needs to get a grip…it was his loss, not Charlies.

  18. gbh999 • February 17, 2012 @ 12:09 PM

Just looking at the photo you are using. It would seem that Charlie is getting very old, very fast. I wonder if there is some kind of decease going around.
No matter… Charlie boy, is last years news. He is done.
People have better things to do with their time, than to be scammed by a Charlie Sheen publicity stunt.
Let’s see… Here is a dude, with the top comedy show on TV. Accolades everywhere. Enough to spare. Making millions of dollars every year. So much so, that he couldn’t spend it all if he tried. But he goes ahead, and sabotages his show, and ultimately himself. In his over the top delusion, he proclaims, that he knows best, and he will call the shots, from now on.
    The rest is history.
You got fired Charlie! Too bad, you never seen that coming, right? Bye-bye now!!

  19. Jo • February 18, 2012 @ 3:36 AM

Charlie Sheen is a very good actor. He really did a great job on 2 1/2 men. Ashton is not yet at Sheen’s
level of acting or may never be. Charlie Sheen does have many personal problems; he’s a human being like we all are…maybe drinking, maybe drugs, maybe anger…but he can change as we all can if we try. I hope that Anger Management does well and more than likely with Sheen’s acting ability it will succeed. As for using photos from WB; it was a mistake for the new show to use them for publicity. New photos can be taken and most people know Charlie Sheen as an actor anyway so they can use new photos of articles to promote the new show. From TO, ON

Nothing hilarious about Charlie Sheen at all, he’s a pathetic little man and yes he does look like Freddie Kruger only more creepy. He messed up the show he had and now he’s going to make an exhibition out of his uncontrolled anger and try to make money from that. Wish he’d just go away, he’s sickening.

  21. Safewayhead • February 18, 2012 @ 9:04 AM

Yvonne has it right. Chuck Lorre thinks he was right he and Sheen should have kissed and made up. Make Sheen do a public appology, don’t kill the goose that laid the golden eggs.

  22. Brian • February 18, 2012 @ 12:27 PM

Way to go charlie, can hardly wait to see this rocket ship ride to the moon. Although 2 1/2 still has its funny moments, I’m starting to tire of the alan harper loser jokes, which make up 50% of every episode. Sheen is the new Newhart, as fans will follow and enjoy, no matter who the surrounding cast is.

  23. Anonymous • February 18, 2012 @ 2:27 PM

    Charlie Sheen…anger management…no surprise there.

  24. Lou • February 23, 2012 @ 2:05 PM

I love Charlie Sheen, and yes he WAS 2½ Men, the show that used to be must-see TV is now “what happened to all these characters?”
I love them both (Lorre did, after all, create Mike & Molly, Dharma & Greg, Big Bang Theory) but Chuck Lorre let pride stand in his way buy getting rid of the #1 star of his show. (I don’t know how the ratings have stayed this high but it is not the same show in terms of plot or writing quality.)
I still say bring charlie back and turn this year into a dream sequence a la Dallas. Everybody wins.

It is therefore the responsibility on the individual currently being slandered through unsubstantiated claims to disprove all of them? I’d personally declare that Charlie Kass offers unpleasant flying apes dwelling interior their rear end, and it also would be your duty to endure a painful open rectal quiz to disprove often the declare. This is a activity liberals wish to participate in, due to the fact their own press lapdogs could make what ever declare they want on page 1 and pic the modification on page sixteen (if in all). In case you possess nothing for the dude, all these unsubstantiated effects merely supply you with and the ones such as you a chance to publicise smudges. Solutions that can compare with to these promises, however you rely on them to attempt to destroy every one of the foes of your concept of “the more significant very good. inch However I know you are furious by the requires intended for Obama to release the school transcripts as well as accomplish their guarantees regarding management clear appearance.
