Chris Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault against former girlfriend Rihanna yesterday, stemming from an incident that occurred in February. By pleading guilty, Brown avoids serving time in jail. Instead, he has to perform six months of community service in his home state of Virginia, serve five years probation, will have to return to court every three months and must enroll in a domestic violence counseling program. Brown has been ordered to have no contact with Rihanna, and stay at least 50 yards away from her at all times with the exception of music industry events they are both attending. In that case, he has to stay 10 yards away with no contact. The current order lasts for five years, although the judge said that after Brown is sentenced in August, she’ll consider reducing the full stay-away order to a limited protective order. Rihanna made an appearance in the court room, but only after Brown had exited. The judge explained the plea deal to her and gave her details about the protective order. Her attorney, Donald Etra, told Entertainment Weekly that his client “feels it’s a fair and just resolution to the case.”

I’m sure Tina Turner thought Ike had good reasons for beating her for the first couple years as well. Let’s hope Chris doesn’t kill her before she finally figures it out.
He aint gonna kill anybody….holy…the guy prolly feels bad as it is…it doesnt make what he did alright but we dont need to rub it in let the guy be…

He got a pretty soft sentence and he should count his blessings for that. Women who are abused do feel guilt, even though they shouldn’t, so if Rhianna feels it is a fair sentence, well, it’s hard to look from the inside out, whereas I think most of us on here see him for what he is…a piece of shit! We can see if more for what it is.
this is ridiculous! what is this teaching men and young boys? that if you beat your girlfriend or wife and admit it you dont have to go to prison? its a sick world we are living in when judges and police and lawyers dont take peoples safety seriously enough to think that this is wrong. he should have been put in jail, he should have a permanent restraining order put against him and he should have to take counseling! this is an outrage.
