Chris Pine, best known for his roles in Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and Horrible Bosses 2, has been cast as Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman, opposite Gal Gadot.
Steve Trevor is the love interest of Wonder Woman. He is a military pilot who crash lands on Wonder Woman’s home, known as Paradise Island, the home of the Amazon warriors. Paradise Island is hidden in the middle of the ocean and kept invisible by ancient magic. The all-female amazonian society has been isolated from the world for countless years. Wonder Woman nurses him back to health and with the blessing of her mother Hippolyta, Wonder Woman helps Trevor get back to America and sets out on her own journey of self discovery. She becomes a hero and eventually joins the Justice League.
It has been no secret that DC had been in talks with Chris for a while now. Rumors had been rampant for months that he was going to be cast as Hal Jordan, otherwise known as Green Lantern, replacing Ryan Reynolds who played the character in a stand-alone movie about the same character in the 2011 film Green Lantern.

Chris Pine has two new thrillers coming out, but when asked whether he’d like to try a new genre of movie, like horror, he revealed why he won’t do one.

I was really hoping to see Pine as GL.
Too bad. I guess this confirms nightwing is suicide squad
They better not recast Green Lantern…
I could not care less. Super hero movies are for idiots with low IQs who never grew up. Probably the same people who like cartoon movies and TV shows.
