Chris Pratt gained 65 pounds to play Vince Vaughn's sidekick in Delivery Man, but the Parks and Recreation star has proven he's not just a comedian, dropping 77 pounds for the role of the Star-Lord in Marvel's 2014 superhero flick, Guardians of the Galaxy. However, long before becoming famous for his funnyman roles, it turns out the 34-year-old became a stripper at 18 to make a few bucks. "I was always a very much naked person. I loved to always get naked," he told Buzzfeed, "I was very free, so I thought, 'I may as well get paid.'" Pratt's past gigs included stripping at bachelorette parties and even at a party for his friend's grandmother. He didn't do a lot of gigs, but says, "I don't know how it got around to them [that I was stripping], but they paid me $40."
Chris confessed he auditioned to be a stripper at a club but lost out because he wasn't a "Magic Mike," referring to the 2012 stripper movie starring Channing Tatum. Often joking about his love handles, Chris recently posted a photo on Instagram, showing off a sizzling and toned six-pack, reminiscent of his stripper days. It seems the former comedy star is looking to keep his new carved body, as he's also playing a rugged ex-military man in the upcoming Jurassic World, set to premiere June 2015.
