Clint Eastwood praises Trump and tells Americans ‘get over it’

Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood acknowledges that Trump has said “a lot of dumb things,” but he tells Esquire that Americans should “just f***ing get over it. It’s a sad time in history.”

The 86-year-old actor/director praised Trump, saying the Republican presidential nominee is “onto something, because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now.”

This isn’t the first time Clint Eastwood has made headlines for his political views. In 2012, the American Sniper director mocked President Obama in an awkward speech at the Republican National Convention.

Clint pretended President Obama was seated on an empty chair, and referred to him as “Mr. Obama.” The speech was clearly improvised and got some tense laughs.

I was going to see his new movie Sully, but after reading his remarks about trump, he doesn’t
earn my respect, I’m so glad I’m a Canadian. Trump is used to getting his own way
regardless of the other person. Unfortunately, trump isn’t finished with his unintelligent
remarks to do with anything. There is more to come, thank God there is only 3 months left
until Hillary becomes the U.S. President of the United States of America. Obama has been
the best President yet and people will realize it after he has finished his term. It is
always easy to be a critic, but when you are doing the job and running a country, it’s a
different story, trying being in Obama’s shoes and see how well you do.

You’ve been my Hero for as long as I can recall and it really shocks me to hear your praise of the man who will be the end of us all once he has the NUKES and can tell any and everyone “it’s his way or the High Way it will be the end of us all–he’s a Bully with no diplomatic skills or sense!(Thanks for all the Great films and please be well) David G.Wallis

Clint is a brilliant filmmaker. He’s one of the very best.
However, he’s an idiot when it comes to his political views.

Gail – it’s doubtful anyone cares what you think – and look at your own Prime Minister- Mr. Elbowgate, born with a Silver Spoon in his a$$, Prince of Canada(or is it Queen- he apparently loves to hang out at all the gay pride events while your unemployment climbs) wannabe, trying to keep up with the Obamas- sticking his foot is his mouth with his obvious lack of real world experience, while his mommy ( the rolling stones groupie) relaxes on the taxpayers’ dime at the PM summer house.

Canadians have no business sticking their nose into American politics.
I for one agree with Eastwood.
Too many dumb cluck liberals, bowing and scraping to minorities for that good old, scrape the bottom of the barrel vote, in order to stay in power and milk taxpayers for all they can in order to benefit themselves and their cronies. To heck with the future security of the country.
Muslims in Islamic based countries are so inbred , and overpopulated, they have stripped their own countries of most vegetation and any other ways to support their people than through oil, and opium, and war.
Bringing them here and allowing the rituals and barbaric customs of their religion – like halal killing, and marrying girls as soon as they ” hit womanhood” ( meaning their period), dressing like they are in costumes from the Arabian Nights, and praying 5 times a day, is not respecting the modern world …if we go to their country, we are expected to follow their rules, and religious requirements for dress. Why should our way of life be changed to accommodate their backwards, ignorant rituals and customs?
Funny how thye can take advantage of modern conveniences- like cell phones, ultrasounds in hospitals, and wearing spike heels & camel-toe hugging skinny jeans, with heavy eye liner, while wearing a face mask and scarf…like they pick and choose which modern conveniences they will adopt, while maintaining enough “traditional” clothing for them to be obviously Muzzie, and to stand out.
If they can get around without a camel. why can’t they eat humanely slaughtered beef and poultry, or wear a hoody if they are afraid their men are going to become so hopped up on testosterone if they see a woman’s earlobe or greasy hair?
The niqab & bhurkas are not mentioned as compulsory in the Quran.
