Corey Feldman is upset that his friend, former child star Corey Haim, who died last March at the age of 38, wasn’t included in the Screen Actors Guild Awards montage honoring entertainers who passed away last year, during the ceremony on Sunday. Interestingly, Gary Coleman, another former child star who died last year at age 42, was included. Feldman told PopEater: “We have become used to not being honored by our peers in the industry.” However, he believes that Haim will be included in the montage that will be shown at the Academy Awards, saying, “I have faith that the Academy will make a wiser choice.”

Corey Feldman was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night. He alleges he was attacked by three men and stabbed by one while in his car. Read the details here.
I was a little surprised by that as well. I wonder if it was because his death was related to drugs, even if it wasn’t an overdose.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Academy snubs him too.
They snubbed Farrah Fawcett. They’ll probably snub him too. I’m surprised SAG didn’t snub Gary Coleman.
Oh yeah, Farrah Fawcett! What was that about? I’m sure she was quite eligible. Even if Haim hadn’t done anything significant with his career over the past how many years/decades…he was still in Lucas…??
Maybe when they passed they were no longer members in good standing with the union.
