Glee star Darren Criss has been announced as Daniel Radcliffe‘s replacement when the Harry Potter star’s run in the Broadway musical How to Success in Business Without Trying concludes at the end of the year. Criss will make his first appearance in the musical on January 3, 2012, but he’ll only be with the show for three weeks, until January 22nd. A permanent successor has not yet been named. When asked if he’s ever met Radcliffe, Criss replied, “Only in my dreams, and that’s probably as close as I’ll ever get.” Daniel’s latest movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, has earned over $300 million in less than three weeks since its release. Criss can next be seen in Glee: The 3D Concert Movie, which opens August 12th.

I have to get to New York before Daniel leaves, I would love to see him in this. I’ve never watched Glee, so I don’t know who this guy is.
