David Arquette engaged

Just days after Scream 4 star David Arquette's ex-wife Courteney Cox announced her engagement to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, the actor proposed to girlfriend Christina McLarty at Mastro's steakhouse in Malibu during dinner with their son Charlie, two months, and David's 10-year-old daughter Coco - whose mother is Courteney - yesterday. According to E! News, the group arrived at the ocean-view restaurant shortly after 6 p.m. and around 45 minutes later, David asked his family to follow him outside, where he got down on one knee and popped the question with a blue-stoned ring. Christina was heard asking: ''Coco, did you know?'' The youngster replied ''Maybe'' before bursting into giggles and shouting ''Engaged!'' The 33-year-old entertainment reporter was described as ''beaming from ear to ear'' when they walked back into the restaurant.

   Doesn’t he still have a drug abuse/drinking problem? It’s so pathetic that he chose to ask someone to marry him a couple of days after his ex-wife got engaged. So sad. This won’t last and will further damage their kids. He needs to grow up first.
